1. About Jaqui AI
Jaqui AI is an AI-powered coding mentor designed to help beginner and intermediate developers build real software projects through hands-on, step-by-step instruction. Jaqui AI does not build projects for you — it teaches you as you build, ensuring you understand every step of the process. The Service is operated by Courtney Sledge, Founder and CEO of Jaqui AI, based in Atlanta, Georgia.
2. Eligibility
To use Jaqui AI you must be at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law, and provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
3. Account Registration
To access the full features of Jaqui AI you must create an account by providing your first name, last name, email address, and phone number, and by agreeing to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each user may maintain only one account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan: New users receive 25 free messages to experience the full Jaqui AI wizard, receive a complete project plan, and begin building their first project.
Pro Monthly: $14.99 per month — 300 messages per month, billed on a recurring monthly basis.
Pro Annual: $149.99 per year — 300 messages per month, billed once annually.
Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. After 7 days all charges are final. You may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use Jaqui AI for lawful purposes only. You agree NOT to use the Service to build malware or harmful software, violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property rights, share account credentials, circumvent payment or usage limits, or submit illegal or objectionable content. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of code and projects you create using Jaqui AI. The Jaqui AI name, logo, platform design, and proprietary elements are owned by Courtney Sledge and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated code is provided for your use but requires your review and testing before production deployment.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Jaqui AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete code and guidance. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of DeKalb County, Georgia.

2. Information We Collect
You provide directly: First and last name, email address, phone number, project descriptions and prompts, files and screenshots you upload.
Collected automatically: Usage data, message counts, device and browser information, IP address, and actions taken within the platform.
From third parties: Authentication data from Firebase, subscription status from Stripe, and contact information stored in HubSpot.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver the Jaqui AI service, personalize your experience, process payments, send service communications, respond to support requests, detect fraud, and understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it. We analyze usage patterns in aggregate to understand what services best align with our users' needs and goals.
4. What We Never Do With Your Data

5. How We Share Your Information
We share data only with trusted service providers who help operate the platform: Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), HubSpot (CRM), Zapier (email automation), Anthropic (AI model inference), and our hosting provider. All providers are contractually required to use your data only as needed to provide their services.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
6. Data Security
We use Firebase Authentication, HTTPS encryption, secure API key management, and Stripe's PCI DSS compliant payment processing to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your Rights
Access and Correction: Request a copy or correction of your data by emailing support@jaquiai.com.
Deletion: Request account and data deletion at any time. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Email Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
California Residents (CCPA): You have additional rights including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
8. Children's Privacy
Jaqui AI is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
